So one thing I've heard a few times from centrists is "Well we don't know how hard people are working in the government and what they do behind closed doors. They're probably working really hard for us"
And to that I say it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how many people they are "helping" people. The blood of countless innocents is on their hands. If you even look at the policies they have put in place, they end up hurting more people. Let's look at a few:
-Providing free police has made people drop their guard, making them a victim when tragedy strikes
-Welfare allows people to survive off others and encourages people to not work, which I've seen people become unmotivated and obese because of
-Regulating guns so people can't protect themselves if they smoked a plant, also raises prices so if you're poor, go whine about it
-Misdemenours can ruin your life
It doesn't help that the US government poisoned their own citizens. During Prohibition, about 10,000 US citizens were poisoned by the gov't due to poison in the alcohol. That should have to be enough to change your mind to be anarchist, but then people hit you with "Muh roads!" or "Well we can't plan for the things we don't know about"
If the gov't is doing stuff behind our backs, there's a reason we don't know about it, and not so the filthy Russians don't know. It's probably because we would revolt if we knew what went on behind closed doors.
And being small government doesn't solve the problem. People can still force their beliefs on you in a CL system. It still allows for the ban of drugs, alcohol, etc. if the majority is okay with it, which isn't a solution. Small government always grows.
The only way we can truly fix this problem is to cast aside our chains and throw away the idea of government. The government cannot harm anybody if there is no government. There can be no second Hitler because power is difficult to get when everybody keeps eachother checked for power. The Holocaust wouldn't have happened if government didn't exist.
If there must be a public education system, 1984 and Brave New World must be in the required reading. As well, all Current Issues classes must be taught fairly, without the teacher's own leanings involved.
People pride themselves on being normal and not straying from average. The longer I people-watch and think about it, I'm repulsed by this. You're letting other people decide who you are, and what your talents are. You aren't even a person anymore, disgusting.
The difference between normies and us, is that they don't like things because they enjoy them, they like them because they're popular, what's hip. Enjoy what you want because you like it, not because others do.
A normie in politics believes there's only democrats, republicans, anarchists (ancom) and communists. The word socialism doesn't mean much to them, it has no weight. Why do they believe this and believe what they're told by the news? Because that's what everyone else thinks, because in the US, most people only know liberal and comservative, you're either or. Information isn't spread because the celebrities spreading this trend (the media and government) think honesty isn't hip. The truth isn't cool.
