I wanted to add i liked how doubleplus is advertised as the wordpress of image boards but from my perspective it was easier to cobble together a vichan install even though this is obviously sleeker

Most of these are designed to configure themselves.

is a list of all the modules that can be disabled (just everything that's not in base/, I don't recommend disabling those)

There's more options configurable in the software, most of the config is meant to be done in the web interface.
